What We Learned: Aztec Team Camp Session 1

June is one of my favorite months of the basketball calendar. After spending the past few months playing on travel teams, players return to their high school programs and head to various team camps to gain valuable experience and create chemistry heading into the winter season.

The camp, a two-division tournament, crowned a pair of champions on Sunday. Balboa School won the upper-division "Black" title with a 70-65 OT win over La Costa Canyon. Otay Ranch won the lower division "Red" title.

In this report, I give some of my long-form observations about the weekend that was, including individual and team standouts, as well as some other observations.
